I did not realize how many have actually been submitted so I tried to limit it after awhile. I thought I'd take the time to find what I could and create a list. Someone asked recently if there was a list of all the wallpapers the community has submitted to r/RocketLeague. This is only a list of the most recent posts containing community created content. It’s a fantastic game, and fans of previous Fromsoftwaregames will love it.Disclaimer: None of this content was created by me. Speaking of Elden Ring, why not give our review of the game a read. I suspect we’ll see a few methods or mods that will give us that ultrawide monitor support that we’re longing for. The PC gaming modding community has worked its magic on other Fromsoftware games in the past. It’s nice to have, and I would have loved to have played Elden Ring in glorious widescreen loving. The PC gaming market is still dominated by 16:9 ratio monitors, and there’s little reason to go outside of that. Despite all the acclaim and love for ultrawide monitors, they make up less than 10% of the current gaming monitor market. This could also be why Elden Ring does not support Nvidia’s DLSS or AMD’s FSR technologies, and a capped framerate of 60. Yet, I have a suspicion this has something to do wiht the game being a port and that the console versions were the primary development platform. Oddly enough, the re-release of Dark Souls, Dark Souls: Remastered, did include ultrawide monitor support.Īs for why Fromsoftwareopted out of including support for ultrawide monitors, I couldn’t tell you. This was the same for the original Dark Souls, Dark Souls II, and Dark Souls III. Yet, from the very start, Fromsoftwarementioned that they would not be supporting ultrawide monitors. The game will be displayed in the center of the display, with black bars on the left and right sides of the screen. Instead, when selecting a native resolution for 21:9, such as 3440×1440, the game will be presented in a 16:9 ratio. Sadly, the answer here is that Elden Ring DOES NOT include support for ultrawide monitors or the 21:9 ratio. Something that a number of PC games that have been released over the past few years have included. You may be one of the many people wondering if Fromsoftware’s latest masterpiece, Elden Ring, supports ultrawide monitors.
